- New - TRU-Life Transaction Mode. Think you can do better than your favorite manager? Try Tru-Life Transactions mode, where player transactions happen just as they did in real life! All seasons from 1946-2009 are supported. You'll have to manage with the cards you are dealt.
- New - Manager Tendencies Editor. On each team's menu there is now an option to edit manager tendencies based on the situation, such as inning score etc. Over 200 tendencies can be editd.
- New - All MLB Managers since 1900 have been modeled and automatically import onto the correct teams as your association seasons unfold.
- New - 2 unique career modes available when doing historical replays:
- TRU-Life - Super accurate modeling of player performance based on real world stats.
The most accurate career replay simulation on the market. In fact, it is very similar to
the accuracy achieved in games that require expensive individual season disks. 1900-2009
is included "in the box."
- Organic - Upon import, real players are assigned ratings and career trajectory models
based on their real world performance, but from there things are 100% ratings based and organic.
Interesting mode if you'd like to have a more varied range of possibilities.
- New - New resolution support PureSim now supports 2 display modes:
- Scaled - Window can be sized as large as 1320x1010 and the content
is scaled to fit. Nice for guys like me in my 40's on a 1920x1200 monitor :)
Note, this mode requires a fairly modern video card to perform acceptably.
- Native - Works exactly like things always have. Performs the best.
- There are 2 handy hot keys for this as well:
CTRL-F9 - Automatically select the best Windowed resolution for the current
======= Windows desktop and task bar configuration.
CTRL-F10 - Automatically switch to the native non-scaled resolution.
========
- New - New - Auto logo import. When using real teams, PureSim will automatically assign a team logo if an appropriate one is found in the mods\logos sub folder of your PureSim installation. See the _LogoReadme.txt file in that folder for information on the naming convention used.

- New - In Sandbox Mode, Real Rookies Only can now be imported each season at Amateur Draft time and made available for the upcoming draft. Before starting the draft, click Players|Import Real Players. Choose the year in which you want to import rookies from and click Import Players. Only rookies from that season will import. After import, you can then view these rookies from the Draft Report on the home page. In addition, once the draft is complete you will be given the option of league expansion (if you have Expansion option turned ON). After the draft(s) are complete, you can import more players if you choose and these imported players can be assigned to existing teams or dropped into FA pool as would normally be the case.

- New - Regions - 26 global cities/nations added to the Regions table. Will take effect for newly created assn's. This applies to Fictional Players Only - not real players.
- New - Fictional 16 team (2Div), 18 team (2Div, 10, 8), and 20 team (2Div) schedules have been re-made in same likeness of MLB-type (retrosheet) schedules.
- New - Improved endurance modeling.
- New - For history buffs.... With real players, on the player card, there is now a link to search for information about them on Google. I wasted an hour reading about players after testing the feature :)
- Tweak - Now noting players whose skills are in steep decline on the potential field of the player card (as opposed to stopping at "Past Peak"). So we have the following phases of a player's career arc reflected on the card:
1. Developing
2. At Peak
3. Past Peak
4. In Steep Decline
- New - New - Super smooth, DirectX-powered ball flight graphics. Way more frames and works just as well in scaled mode as it does in native.
- New - Blast from the past - Brought back firework display when the home team hits a home run.
- New - Aging / Potential / Career Arc Model:
More tweaks here. Also improved clarity of the potential rating:
1. The potential rating *only* matters until a player is "At Peak"
2. Once he reaches peak his potential immediately drops to 1
3. During peak, internal attributes will change very Little with SPEED and
RANGE being an exception since they take age into account
regardless of where a player is on his career arc.

- New - Stats|Sabermetric Reports Pack|Park Factor - added Team Name to the stadium display to help identify which team plays in the park. May not be an issue with Historical Stadiums, but with fictional associations using fictional stadiums it was impossible to tell which park belonged to which team.
- Tweak - SB Logic, SB attempts now impacted by left handed pitcher holding runner more often. Result of a SB attempt now scaled to runners speed in algorithm resulting in faster runners being more successful over course of a season.
- Tweak - Durability ratings - tweaked so that 99% of the players in an association no longer have 100 durability rating. Hopefully this will in turn keep the number of players who play in 162 games per season to a bare minimum. This will likely need further tweaking if the # games played is not impacted.

- Tweak - Tweaked pitch count limits for very early 1900's
